Offshore and Subsea Production Research Laboratory
OPART is a research laboratory under the Study Program of Ocean Engineering, Hasanuddin University. The laboratory focuses on offshore production systems, subsea engineering, marine technology, digital monitoring, risk analysis, reliability, and engineering innovation for sustainable maritime development.
OPART was established as an academic and research platform to support the development of knowledge, technology, and innovation in ocean engineering. The laboratory provides a collaborative space for students, lecturers, researchers, and partners to explore real engineering problems related to offshore and subsea production systems, marine structures, ocean technology, and digital-based engineering solutions.
Research
Technical studies, experimental works, prototype development, computational tools, risk-based analysis, and publication-oriented academic outputs.
Community Service
Engineering knowledge and practical solutions for maritime communities, coastal stakeholders, industry partners, and related institutions.
Talent Development
Structured development of research skills, technical competence, scientific writing ability, and innovation capacity for students.
Our laboratory serves as a research and learning ecosystem where students, lecturers, researchers, and collaborators can develop technical studies, prototypes, computational tools, experimental works, and publication-oriented research in offshore and subsea engineering.
By connecting education, research, community engagement, and innovation, OPART Laboratory aims to become a productive research hub for advancing offshore and subsea engineering in Indonesia and beyond.
